Pre-color Balance Using Deep Sky Stacker

This is a screenshot of M16 after having been stacked, open in Deep Sky Stacker ready for pre-processing.  
No adjustments have been made to the histogram as of yet.

This is a screenshot of the histogram colors seperated to note the differences in the color channels.

This is a screenshot of the same image with the colors pre-balanced, luminance and saturation adjusted
ready to move into Photoshop for final processing.  Note how the levels sliders have been used to
achieve a very close balance across the image.  Also note the adjusted histogram curve line.
